We Must Be Spiritually Fit for the Battle Ahead
COMMON SENSE: As Christians, we know and believe God has a plan for our lives. If this is true, and it is, then it seems perfectly logical to know that Satan has an alternative plan for each of us. It is a plan to “rob, kill and destroy.”
We like to believe that we are consistently opposed to Satan’s plan, but this may not be true. Although we don’t like to think we would ever respond to Satan in an affirmative way, if you think about what Satan’s mindset was before he rebelled against God, you might recognize that you maintain some of his attitudes. If you do, then you will need to do some work to renew your mind. Before his rebellion, this was Satan’s state of mind:

· Satan Was Discontent: He did not recognize the value of what God had done for him. Instead, Satan was fixated on what he wanted to achieve. Most of us share Satan’s attitude. At times, life can be very unpleasant. The only way we can keep from murmuring against God is by maintaining a contemplative attitude about all that He has done for us. We must be consistently mindful and grateful that He sought us out and invited us to be a child of His. No matter what the condition of your life, or how unfulfilled you might be, nothing should ever be powerful enough to outweigh your thankfulness for God’s salvation. Without having been saved, you would be eternally lost.
· Satan Focused on Himself: Often, we respond to pain, misfortune, and being emotionally wounded with an attitude of self-pity. In such times, we think, “It’s all about me.” We become self-absorbed, self-serving emotional sponges. We may not wish ill upon others, but all that really matters is our own situation, regardless of what that happens to be. When hard times come, like Satan, we concentrate on ourselves to the exclusion of almost everything else, and it costs us—just like it did him.
· Satan Believed He Deserved More: According to the Scriptures, Satan wanted to place his throne above all the stars in Heaven, which is a reference to the other angels. He wanted to be like God. Reflecting on his self-importance, Satan concluded that being the most powerful angel was not enough for him. He wanted all the angels to serve him. Do you ever wonder how long he contemplated rebellion before he actually acted upon it? If you think about your own life, have you done the same thing? Do you see any parallels between your thinking and Satan’s? The longer we think about what we “should have,” the more likely it is that we will act on it, even if it means rebelling against God.
· Satan Believed God Was Not Fair. Prior to choosing his own path, Satan convinced himself that God was unfair. Once he convinced himself of this, what followed became inevitable. We do the same thing all the time, don’t we? At one time or another, nearly all Christians become resentful toward God, based on some perceived sense of unfairness. How often, in the middle of a difficult challenge, have you asked God this simple question: “Why have You done this to me? How could You have allowed this to happen? This isn’t fair!” Let me assure you, this is not a healthy place to be. The longer you think God is being unfair, the more you will embrace the thoughts of Satan. This should be a sobering thought for all of us.
· Satan Refused to Accept God’s Authority. How often do you operate on the theory that it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission? In spiritual matters, most of us do this frequently, even if we deny that we do. It’s an indicator that we are harboring rebelliousness in our hearts—just like Satan did. It means there are areas in our lives that we simply refuse to submit to God’s authority.
Satan is attempting to influence each of us. This happens when we maintain attitudes like those listed above. Have you ever thought or said something like this: “I have been waiting for the Lord to come through for so long, but He hasn’t. I know He wants me to be patient, and I have been, but what’s happening just doesn’t seem fair. Everybody else is being blessed, but not me. I just don’t get it. Why me? Why have I been singled out to suffer?”
Individually and corporately, we are in the spiritual battle of our lives. To win, to retake the USA from the Progressives, the depraved Children of Darkness, we must be spiritually fit. To be spiritually fit, we must be able to discern the will of God. To discern God’s will correctly, we must not think like Satan. Instead, we must have the thoughts of Christ. The solution is simple but achieving our goal certainly isn’t. We must work for it. Nevertheless, the reward for winning this war will result in our children and grandchildren being blessed generations to come.

Retaking the USA: From Darkness and Depravity
Stand Firm Against Progressivism Knowing profound change must occur, if we are to survive as the land of the free and the home of the brave, it is clear that a group of patriotic Christians and others of faith must be strong enough, committed enough and determined enough to make a stand. Only then can the course of American history be altered, precisely like it was in the Revolutionary era. What is needed, however, isn’t simply a renewal in patriotism. Our need is more fundamental than this. If we want change that will last, if we want our core values to be restored, if we want our way of life to flourish once again, we are the ones who will need to change—not the Progressives. Being degenerate by nature, most of them are incapable of changing—not for the better anyway. This is not true for us. If we change, America will change. If we don’t, the Children of Darkness will secure their victory and the United States we have known will cease to exist. To survive and once again thrive, we must embrace the fact that Christ placed us in this position. It is for such a time as this that we have been groomed. It is up to us, ordinary people, to stand strong for the USA. Nothing less than a renewed commitment to godliness will accomplish the goal we desire. This is why Retaking the USA: From Darkness and Depravity has been written. If you read the book, it will change you forever—no doubt about it. — Purchase Jack Watts Book by Clicking Here.
